Zach: GHS 2010

Zach and I both suffered from this photoshoot. This was the 1st of 2 sessions this summer where I total disregard for mother nature, and left with weeks of poison ivy pain. I found out later that he had the same luck. April was smart, she did her shooting in the clearing. I think it was worth it, as we got some great images.

Just before the flood...

It's hard to keep track of what I need to blog and what I've forgotten about. And if you're signed up as a fan on our Facebook page, then you've seen these before. But with a beautiful little girl like Maddie, they are worth seeing again.

We've gotten to photograph this girl several times, with family photos last year and cheer photos in the spring, and every time we enjoy her wonderful spirit and personality. This girl is ALL ABOUT taking pictures, which makes our job that much easier.

This was, by far, the quickest session we've had. But mother-nature held off long enough to get a few shots in, just before some pretty heavy rain. Mom, who is a big supporter of our work, wanted field flower photos...we were happy to oblige:)

New Soul Reflections logo...

We wanted to let everyone know about our new logo. After a long, extensive design process, we ended up choosing the most simple form of the idea, which we think represents us, as a business. April and I are not "business" people, nor marketing professionals, or even fierce competitors. We are simply people who love what we do and find fullfillment in seeing your delight when we capture your family; your world.

We strive every day to find new and exciting ideas, and bring something a little unique to this area. Yet, at the same time, we keep it personal, and deal with our clients friends on a simple, one-on-one, down-to-earth basis. After all, it is you who helps us fulfill our dream.

Thanks you for your business, trust, and friendship.

Jason & April

Damion Tye: Armorel Class of 2010

I've known this young man's family for several years, and it was a pleasure to do his senior pictures. We shot this just as summer was beginning to bear down on this part of the country, and the term HOT is used loosely! DJ didn't care what we did, just as long as we got some images of him with his dad's car. We all toughed it out and got some pretty good images.

Amanda Curtis Family

Meet the Curtis Family. It was a pretty warm day, during a typical Arkansas summer, but these kids hung in there and gave mom what she wanted. It was an exciting shoot, and without any snake bites, might I add (a big concern at one of the locations). The kids were great, mom was happy....it's what our job is all about:)
